rooted progress

I was asked to design a t-shirt that expressed the need for Southern students to invest locally in the economy, culture, and all together well-being of the city of louisville. I didn't want to do a skyline or a fleur de lis... so i went a little more broad. The writers here came up with the tag "rooted progress" and from that i created this.

Bradley & Jessica are getting married

Our dear friends Bradley & Jessica are due for some old-fashioned hitching and they asked my wife and i to be in their wedding and... have the honor to design and direct their wedding invitations. With their much appreciated influence Noel drew this nice wood bark pattern which was screen printed by Ron Jasin. I designed the insert information with the specific intent to have them letter-pressed by our local comrades hound dog press. They look great in person... a truly a wonderful printing process.

recalibrate logo concepts

here is a logo option i did for a conference called recalibrate... i really don't know anything about the conference; i am assuming that it will be a big room of people teetering over pocket watches with small instruments. right?

i was walking through a local coffee shop today and saw this coffee sample bag from pearland roasters. i designed their identity 6 months ago and hadn't seen their coffee packaging in person yet... it was a nice surprise.

can this be it?

i have been toiling over logo designs for myself over the last 6 months. this most recent attempt really sticks out to me. it is bold, catchy, classic, and a clever use of objects. i am not ready to say its going to stick, but i will say that i like it.

winters photography co!

Michael and Mickie Winters are old friends looking for a new brand. They rule at what they do and i couldn't have been more excited to work with them.

booklet series

Southern asked me to create a brand for a series of short books. The content and volume of the booklets is direct and simple, so i felt that i would be most appropriate to keep the covers the same.
