brochure for trinity

here is the finalized logo and the new brochure layout.  i had some help from my talented friend ricky irvine dressedinvalue.com with the layout.

we are very happy with where it is at.

i spent a good part of the day drawing and scanning.  i spent more time coming up with these specific textures than you would expect.  here is a collage i put together in the progress, i feel confident that i can build onto this style more.

i have had this idea in my head for a couple of weeks... its nothing profound as you can see... infact as i was making it i had a moment of reflection.  is my purpose in life to make such things as this? i mean... this thing is pretty absurd, but nonetheless i am happy with how it turned out.  i am glad to be slowly introducing drawing into my design.

this might become a large screen print in which i would show at quills coffee.  they are working to put together a coffee-inspired print show.

1: they are my church and i like making things for them
2: they pay me money... and i need some
3: they give me lots of creative control
